# One CRM for every household, person and task

Every profession in the firm works from one CRM. Households, people, businesses and trusts, their touchpoints, tasks and decisions sit in one record, and each professional sees what their role and the client's consent allow.

## Households, people, businesses and trusts
A household is created with its people and its engagement in one step, so a new client never exists half-made. Businesses and trusts are clients in their own right, linked to the people who own or serve them. Each person carries their roles: owner, spouse, dependent, trustee or agent under a power of attorney, with the document that proves it. The firm sees who may act for whom before anyone acts. Every change records who made it and when, and the full history stays readable.

## Every touchpoint in one timeline
Emails, meetings, calls, texts, video calls, faxes, notes, uploads and billing events are touchpoints on the household record. Captured communications arrive from the compliance archive on their own; nobody types them in. A touchpoint can be classified, revised, superseded, marked a duplicate or excluded, and each step keeps its history. A message the system cannot match to a client waits in an intake queue, where staff assign it to the right household or dismiss it with a reason.

## Tasks that remind people
Tasks have an owner, participants and watchers, a priority, a due date, tags and reminders. Reminders go out by email and text at the time the person chose, and each person sets their own notification preferences. A task can be snoozed, completed, reopened or passed to someone else, and the record shows every change. Today lists what needs a decision, what is due or at risk, what is waiting on a client and what went wrong, so each morning starts with the right list.

## Decisions delivered to the client
A firm's decisions for a household are written up as versioned records: the question, the options, the evidence and the reasoning. Delivering a version is deliberate and cannot be undone, and only a delivered version reaches the client's portal. Earlier drafts stay private to the firm. The client reads the same decision the firm recorded, so the next meeting starts from one text instead of two memories.

## Client requests and the firm's inbox
Clients raise requests from their portal, and the firm responds, fulfills or cancels them in the same record. The firm's inbox groups messages by thread and says why each person can see it. A conversation can be shared with a colleague for a set time, and client-service threads keep the client in view. Meetings are booked and joined from the thread. Before a call is recorded, the inbox checks that the right consent exists.

## Work with a second pair of eyes
Work items carry an owner, a reviewer and a sign-off. A reviewer who is not the author checks the work before it is delivered, and the record shows who did each part. Deadlines and corrections have their own views, so nothing slips because it was buried in a list. Small facts learned in conversation are offered back as suggestions that a person confirms, snoozes or dismisses, so the record grows without anyone retyping a call.

## Shared with the right people only
Access follows the household, the engagement and the practice. An advisor, a tax preparer, an agent and an attorney each see the same household within their own permissions, and a client's consent decides what crosses firm lines. New staff receive a welcome email with their sign-in on their first day. Connect your own systems to the same records through the [public API](/developers/api), see the rest of the [practice side](/practice), or [talk with us](/contact).
